Through many years as an orthodontist in Hamburg, Dr. Massoud Taghavi has specialized knowledge and an impressive wealth of experience. After studying dentistry, he completed the intensive, multi-year full-time further training to become a specialist in orthodontics. He has thus achieved the highest possible qualification in this discipline.
Detailed and transparent advice
In an initial conversation, we will explain to you what to expect in the coming treatment period. Of course, we take into account your individual requirements, wishes and any fears when planning the therapy. This detailed and transparent consultation, which takes place in a separate room without medical equipment, is very important to us. We want you to understand the treatment and be able to trust us. A harmonious patient relationship is a key factor. We maintain good contact with many patients even years after the end of treatment.
Holistic treatment
Malfunctions in the jaw joint (craniomandibular dysfunction, CMD) can often lead to headaches and facial pain, tension in the neck and back area, jaw cracking and ringing in the ears. We know what effects a "wrong bite" can have on the body and treat this incorrect load holistically. With our whole-body approach, we not only help you to straighten your teeth, but also to achieve a harmonious bite and alleviate physical ailments.
Our range of orthodontic services
- Diagnostics: The diagnostics form the basis for the entire therapy planning and implementation.
- Removable braces: With "loose" braces, the natural jaw growth in children and adolescents can be effectively influenced.
- Fixed braces: Fixed braces are the most versatile treatment devices in orthodontics. Almost all misaligned teeth can be corrected with it.
- Non-Compliance Devices: With these additional devices we can correct the position of the jaw without having to remove teeth.
- "Invisible" braces: The so-called lingual braces are "hidden" behind the teeth and are virtually invisible from the outside.
- Transparent splints: Aligners are particularly inconspicuous and comfortable - and are therefore very popular with older adolescents and adults.
- Orthodontic prophylaxis: Prophylaxis becomes even more important during orthodontic treatment.
- Retention: We would like to secure your new smile in the long term and offer you various options for this.
- Treatment of the jaw joint: We treat craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) holistically and interdisciplinary in our practice.

Arrival and parking
- Our orthodontic practice is conveniently located in the district of Hamburg-Eimsbüttel at Heußweg 41 - the entrance is on a small side street that is accessible via Osterstraße.
- If you are planning to come by car, you can park in the underground car park in the Karl-Schneider-Passage and take the elevator up to us on the second floor.
- You can also easily reach us by public transport. The U2 underground line and the 4 Metrobus will take you to the "Osterstraße" stop, which is a one-minute walk from our practice.
